The steering damper is the part that stops the front wheel swinging too far when a child is learning. It is fitted as standard to every Jumper, and it is the single feature parents notice most — it makes the first weeks far less frightening for everyone.
This is the complete replacement: the rubber "O" ring and the strap attachment. The ring perishes with sun and use, and Singapore is hard on rubber. If the steering has started to feel loose, this is why.
