Warranty and after-sales support

KOKUA bikes are made in Germany and built to be handed down. Most of them outlast the child they were bought for. This page sets out what happens if something goes wrong.

Manufacturer's warranty

KOKUA GmbH warrants the frame and fork against manufacturing defects for 1 year from the date of purchase. Components subject to normal wear — tyres, tubes, grips, brake pads, bearings, cables — are not covered.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or riding outside the bike's intended use
  • Damage from improper assembly or modification
  • Corrosion resulting from being stored wet or outdoors
  • Bikes bought second-hand, or bought from another shop

Your rights under Singapore law

Separately from any manufacturer's warranty, goods sold in Singapore must conform to the contract of sale under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act. If a defect appears shortly after delivery, you may be entitled to repair or replacement. Nothing on this page limits those rights.

If something is wrong with your bike

Contact us first — do not return anything before speaking to us.

  1. Email kokua@kokuabikesg.com with photographs of the problem, your order number, and a short description of what happened.
  2. We will assess it and tell you what we can do. Where a part is at fault, we order the replacement from KOKUA in Germany.
  3. Replacement parts arrive on the same schedule as our stock — typically 4–6 weeks.

Because we are a small Singapore operation and deliver bikes personally, we can usually look at a problem in person. That is often faster than shipping anything anywhere.

Damage in transit

Please inspect your bike when it arrives. If it is damaged, or the wrong item, contact us immediately with photographs so we can put it right.

Returns and exchanges

Orders are checked thoroughly before they leave us, and we do not accept returns — all sales are final.

If you change your mind about the colour, we are happy to exchange it. The bike must be in its original packaging, unassembled and unused, and an additional delivery charge applies.

Spare parts

We stock spare parts for every model we sell — seat posts, grips, brake levers, mudguards, stem extensions and more. A KOKUA is meant to be maintained rather than replaced.
