Choosing the right bike
How do I know which size fits my child?
Measure their inner leg — it matters far more than their age. Our size guide explains how to measure and gives the exact inner leg range for every model. If you are between sizes, email us the measurement and we will tell you honestly which one to buy, including if the answer is to wait.
My child is 4. Which bike?
It depends less on age than on whether they can already balance. A child who cannot yet balance should start on a balance bike — the Jumper 12 or 14 — whatever their age. A child who balances confidently is ready for the LtB 16, our first pedal bike. Age bands published by KOKUA are calibrated for European children, so treat them as a guide only.
Do I need stabilisers?
No. Children who learn on a balance bike almost always skip stabilisers entirely. Balance is the difficult part of cycling; pedalling is straightforward once balance is instinctive.
Is a balance bike really worth it if they'll outgrow it?
Balance is the skill that transfers. Children who spend real time on a balance bike typically move to pedals faster and more confidently. KOKUA bikes are also built to be handed down or resold — they are not disposable.
Ordering and delivery
Where do you deliver?
Singapore only. If you want a bike shipped elsewhere, email us and we will see what is possible, but it is not something we offer as standard.
How long does delivery take?
If the bike is in stock, we deliver it within three days.
If it is not in stock, we order it from KOKUA in Germany and the lead time is 4–6 weeks. We will tell you before you commit — we would rather be straight with you about the wait than surprise you afterwards.
Who delivers the bike?
Usually Nicolas, personally. We are a small Singapore operation and we hand-deliver bikes ourselves wherever we can. It means you can ask questions at the door and we can check the bike fits your child before we leave.
Can I collect it myself?
Yes — self-collection is free. Choose it at checkout and we will arrange a time.
What does delivery cost?
Standard delivery is SGD 10 and expedited delivery SGD 20. Self-collection is free.
Does the bike arrive assembled?
Bikes come boxed. We offer an assembly service for SGD 10 — add it to your order and the bike arrives ready to ride. If you would rather build it yourself, the balance bikes in particular are straightforward.
Payment and pricing
What payment methods do you accept?
Cards, PayNow, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
Do your prices include GST?
The price you see is the price you pay. We are not GST-registered, so no GST is added at checkout.
Why are KOKUA bikes more expensive than the ones in the supermarket?
They are made in Germany from aluminium and quality components, weigh a fraction of a typical children's bike, and are built to be handed down rather than thrown away. A 3.4 kg balance bike is a genuinely different object from an 8 kg one — a small child can pick it up, carry it, and right it themselves, which is most of what makes them want to keep riding.

Do you sell spare parts?
Yes — for every model we sell. Seat posts, grips, brake levers, mudguards, stem extensions, saddles and more. Each bike model has its own parts collection so you can find what fits.
Can I return the bike if my child doesn't like it?
We do not accept returns — all sales are final. We will exchange for a different colour if the bike is unused and in its original packaging, with an additional delivery charge. This is exactly why we would rather help you get the size right before you order.
What happens when my child outgrows it?
KOKUA make a full ladder of sizes — Jumper 12, Jumper 14, then LtB 16, 20 SR and 24 SR — so there is a natural next bike.

Are you the official KOKUA distributor?
Yes. KOKUA Bikes Singapore (HeloLeo Pte Ltd) is the only official KOKUA agent in Singapore, listed by KOKUA GmbH in Germany.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
We do not run a retail shop — we sell online and deliver personally. But we keep demo bikes so you can check the size in person: message us and we'll arrange to meet.
