Is it the right size?

From about 5 years old, with an inner leg of 475–645 mm. The saddle adjusts from 595 mm to 765 mm measured from the ground, and the curved handlebar adjusts for both height and reach — so the fit can be tuned as your child grows. It weighs 8.8 kg.

Where they learn to use gears

The German-made LIKE to BIKE 20 SR is the next step after the LtB 16s: from an automatic 2-speed hub to a 7-speed Shimano RevoShift system your child controls themselves.

The RevoShift twist shifter suits children particularly well — the right hand keeps hold of the grip while shifting, so the bike stays stable. The clear display and the definite click of the SIS index gearshift make it easy for a newcomer to keep track of which gear they're in.

Built in Germany to be handed down

Lightweight aviation-grade aluminium frame. Tektro V-brakes front and rear. A chain runner from Biologic, grips and saddle by Velo. It is close to maintenance-free — top up the tyres every couple of months and ride.

The stem can be raised further with the optional LtB 20 SR stem extension.
