Is it the right size?

For children aged 3 to 5, with an inner leg of 460–580 mm. Two seat posts are included, so the saddle adjusts from 445 mm to 555 mm. It weighs 4.2 kg.

Starting younger? Fit the optional short seat post and the saddle drops to 385 mm — low enough for a smaller child to start on the Jumper 14 rather than buying a Jumper 12 first, and then grow into it.

Not sure? Stand your child against a wall in bare feet and measure from the floor to their crotch. If that falls between 460 and 580 mm, this is the bike. Smaller than that? The Jumper 12 fits 360–460 mm. Full measuring method and every model's range →

The bigger Jumper, with a brake

The German-made LIKEaBIKE Jumper 14 is the larger sibling of the Jumper 12, for slightly older and taller children. The important addition is a V-brake on the rear wheel — at this size children ride faster, and learning to brake properly matters before they move to pedals.

The steering damper

Fitted as standard, the steering damper stops the front wheel swinging too far and makes it easier for a child to ride safely. Its job is to make learning steering control less frightening — for them and for you.

Built in Germany to be handed down

A lightweight aviation-grade aluminium frame and a unique elastomer-sprung swing arm that takes the sting out of rough ground. Schwalbe Big Apple air tyres, a cushioned Velo saddle, alloy wheels and sealed bearings. It builds coordination, balance and strength, and sets a child up to move onto a pedal bike without training wheels.
