Is it the right size?

From about 3½ years old, with an inner leg of 380–550 mm. The saddle adjusts from 460 mm to 640 mm, so the bike keeps fitting as your child grows. It weighs 7.5 kg.

The first pedal bike, without the drama

The German-made LIKE to BIKE 16s SRAM Automatix is built for the moment a child moves off their KOKUA Jumper balance bike. No training wheels, no relearning — the geometry and ergonomics carry straight over, so the only new skill is pedalling.

Gears that look after themselves

The SRAM Automatix 2-speed hub has no shifter. It changes up automatically at around 12 km/h, and drops back to first when your child stops pedalling for a moment. They get the speed of a geared bike without having to think about gears — which is the point, at this age. This hub is fitted exclusively to the LtB 16s.

Built in Germany to be handed down

Lightweight aviation-grade aluminium frame, built around the ergonomics a child actually needs. V-brakes front and rear. A chain runner from Biologic, grips and saddle by Velo, Schwalbe Big Apple air tyres. It is close to maintenance-free — top up the tyres every couple of months and ride.

The stem can be raised further with the optional LtB 16 stem extension, and a rack and SKS fenders turn it into a school bike.
